The Sunshine Coast Early Years Centre services families with children from conception to age 6 by providing easily accessible programs, information, and services to support their children’s development. Families are able to access the Early Years Centre through locations at Gibsons Elementary School, Sechelt Learning Centre, Madeira Park Elementary School, Gibsons and Area Community Centre, and through reaching out to community programs.
In Pender Harbour, our Early Years Centre also has an Outreach component that connects new parents to resources and services by providing home visits to new parents as well as through our weekly “Coffee and Connections” on Tuesday mornings from 9am-11am where new parents and caregivers can meet for a warm breakfast and connect with each other as well as find information on services offered in Pender Harbour and on the Sunshine Coast.
